Harvest Weekend

Join us on Saturday 12 September from 2-4pm for an afternoon of wreath making, crafting and getting ourselves oriented to the harvest season. There will be activities for children as well as adults, and even if you simply want to sit and chat over a cuppa and a cookie, you are very welcome. No need to book, no need to bring anything, just come as you are.

Then on Sunday 13 September at 10:30am, we gather for our harvest service. Afterwards we will share a simple harvest lunch of lentil dhal, veggie chilli, and pasta (no charge). If you would like to bring something extra to share, that would be wonderful, but there is absolutely no expectation. Just bring yourself. All are welcome. God makes enough to share.

The Singing Thing

Singing thing

The Singing Thing is an informal singing group, where everyone is welcome. We will meet on selected Friday evenings starting on Friday Sept 4th, in the chapel or sanctuary, with refreshments from 7 and singing from 7.30-8.30.

The Singing Thing is a relaxed singing group for people of all ages and abilities who enjoy singing. We will largely learn ‘by ear’, as this method has been shown to lead to better singing and more fun!
We will practice things lots til they stick! We know, though, that this can be daunting for some folks, so if you need ‘the dots’ do let us know. You will also get recordings to listen to between sessions.

You can come to The Singing Thing for fun and, if you would like to, you can join  concerns and services.
